The Unity Conference is a major turbo boost and upgrade to my recovery. I have met other SA's from around the state, country and even the world as we share our experience, strength and hope together. I also learn a lot from S-Anon speakers on how my disease has effected those around me and have compassion for what spouses go through with us. The talent show is a riot! The Hospitality Suite is a great place to chill, snack and even work on the Steps. And there's nothing like having it in the heart of The OC. I hope to see you there.

The Unity Conference is a great opportunity to meet and hear the stories of S-Anons from all over Southern CA. We also have a chance to hear the SA speakers tell their stories. I learned to have compassion for my husband and his disease after hearing the SA speakers. Stay for the whole weekend, if you can. Don't miss the Birthday Mtg., where we honor all of our members. We have choices! We can attend Mtgs., spend quiet time, work on our Steps, find fellowship & snacks in the Hospitality Room, browse the Literature Table, take a nap, bask in serenity--endless possibilities await you at the 2008 Unity Conference!

The annual Unity Conference has been instrumental in my recovery. It was there that I finished my first 6 meetings and decided that SANON is for me. There I saw that this was not some weird group to get involved with but a program available that changed people's lives for the better on top of offering hope and healing. I also saw the great diversity of people that this disease affects. It was also at a Unity Conference that I met my sponsor. That has brought so much support to me. There are also couples there that we can relate to. I learned about the recovering couples group that we now attend from a conference contact as well. The Unity Conference is a great tool of recovery for us to take advantage of.

Spiritual growth & perspective, I have been helping in Registration for years and enjoy doing it. At the Ohio National conference I attended a joint meeting and found it to be enlightening and it pointed to something that we often forget that we are all in this together and all have something to overcome. I gain spiritual insight as well as learning to stretch myself (challenge) and grow.
May God guide your footsteps to join us. See you there, Ginger

Conferences have been a huge part of my recovery program. Hearing the SA side of the story helps me to understand and grasp the true meaning of "you didn't cause it, you can't control it and you can't cure it," and helps me see the positive side of that information. Going to the conferences also helps me to keep the focus on myself, teaches me new ways to continue a positive couples recovery program with my husband, and gives me ESH to use in my everyday life and relationships with everyone. Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones too!
